OmniProof Privacy Policy

OmniProof is a Shopify app that helps merchants display EU Omnibus-compliant price reduction notices. This policy describes what data the app processes and how.

What we collect and store

• Store information: your shop domain and an API access token, required to operate the app.
• Product pricing data: product and variant IDs and their prices over time. This price history is the core function of the app: computing the lowest price of the last 30 days.
• App settings: which markets you enable.

What we do NOT collect

• No customer personal data. Ever.
• No orders, no addresses, no emails, no payment information.
• No tracking pixels or analytics on your storefront. The notice is rendered from a metafield with no call to our servers.

Data sharing

We do not sell or share your data with third parties. Data is stored with our hosting provider (Railway) in the United States.

Data retention and deletion

When you uninstall the app, Shopify sends us a deletion request and we purge all stored data for your shop (price history, settings, and session tokens), in line with Shopify’s mandatory privacy webhooks.

GDPR

The app implements Shopify’s customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact webhooks. Because we store no customer personal data, customer requests are acknowledged with nothing to return or redact.
